Private lessons are a great way to receive instruction at the student’s own pace in a one to one environment. Whether the student is a beginner or played for years, there is room for improvement. Lessons will consist of fundamentals, solos, sight-reading and basic theory. Curriculum will depend on the level and age of student. Students can choose 30 minute or 60 minute lessons. A recital will occur at the end of the spring semester.
Students must rent or purchase their own instruments and supplies needed to play. If students are beginners and do not already have an instrument, please wait until an email is received from Mrs. Blatchley in order to get the correct size, recommendations for rental or purchase, and a short list of supplies.
Lessons will be taught on Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning. When purchasing this class put down your preference for Friday afternoon or evening or Saturday and your top three preferred time blocks. You will be contacted about a specific time for the lesson.
